On July 8, 2010, Cate Moss, Local 2002 Human Rights Coordinator and Cheryl Robinson, Vice President Atlantic region, visited members of District 508 in recognition of their enthusiastic participation in Pink Shirt Day.
Members celebrated with a cake decorated with a Pink Shirt and won prizes.
“I would like to thank everyone who wore pink on April 14 to bring attention to this really important issue. Employees sent a strong message that bullying in any form, in any place, cannot be tolerated,” said Cate Moss.
