Human Rights Advocates required for CAW Local 2002

In accordance with the CAW Local 2002 Executive Board, 3 positions for Human Rights Advocates are being posted. The duties and responsibilities will be as follows:

• To assist CAW Local 2002’s Human Rights Coordinator as needed
• To assist in the delivery of workshops in the area of human rights as directed by the Human Rights Coordinator
• To assist in conducting workplace harassment investigations as directed by the Human Rights Coordinator
• Must have flexibility to travel and be away for several days at a time
• Must be active in the community and trade union movement in the area of human rights.

Any member in good standing interested in applying should send a resume outlining their particular experience in the area of human rights and the reasons for applying for the position no later than Friday, March 19, 2010.

The term of office will be until December 31st, 2011.

The successful candidates will report to the Human Rights Coordinator and President of Local 2002.
