The employer has notified the CAW (and the other unions representing workers) that they are contemplating decisions surrounding the ground handling business of Handlex.
 
Due to the loss of contracts at Air France and KLM the employer is determining what the future of the company may be. Several scenarios are being contemplated but nothing has been finalized.
 
The CAW has asked that the employer share this information with the membership and meet with the CAW bargaining committees in order to further disclose their plans.

We will continue to keep the membership updated as more details become available. Following discussions with the employer, we will schedule membership meetings.
