With the contract deadline approaching, the CAW bargaining committee for Servisair sought input from the membership. Three meetings were held throughout the day on January 6th in Vancouver. The CAW National Representative, Local Executive Assistant and Regional Vice President joined the committee to hear the membership's bargaining proposals.

The membership was clear that they did not want to make concessions. While they understand the current economic conditions, they made modest proposals going forward in order obtain a fair deal.

There are no current dates set for bargaining in the collective agreement that ends before April. Future communications will occur as events develop.
